CONCEPT

Taking into consideration the growth of housing, per CA bill SB-9, the developer who purchased this lot from the previous owner which had hired us to design a 2 story house and a detached ADU, also hired us to design a Duplex + Detached ADU instead of the previously permitted project. Project scope was 2 story varying units attached / duplex, and a 2 story ADU, each of which have their own private garages. The architectural style was inspired by the large American Dream style suburban desert homes with all conveniences. These types of projects are not new and they set a foundation for new ones to come in the area and more developers and homeowners are starting to consider the desert communities as their home.
